Newzbin, rss and 0.28.4
« on: January 26, 2009, 06:01:47 pm »
Hi folks,

Having problems getting the rss feature from Newzbin to work in Alt.Binz 0.28.4

I'm not completely silly and I have read an followed the wiki instructions, I can even get A.B to show me the feed in the program, but I can't get it to add any nzb to the download queue.

So rather than just sit here asking for spoonfed help, I made a screen grab video of everything I've done (2 mins in H.264 avi file). Would anyone be kind enough to take a look and let me know where I'm going wrong?

Here's the link 4.8megs:  http://www.mediafire.com/file/ownz2ymnzjz/rssproblems.mp4

Thank you.

I see that the video was download about 7 times, anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

Hecks/Rdl etc any thoughts if you have a couple of mins to spare? Thanks if you can.

I don't have newzbin account, otherwise I would test it

Ok I appreciate that.

I'm going to assume that because you haven't said anything that my initial setup is correct. Is there anyway I could help bug fix this for you. Logs etc? Although all I get in the logs so far is:

[27/01/2009 17:15:29] [NZB] C:\Program Files\AltBinz\nzb\Thing I was trying to get.nzb imported - 0 files

No extra detail, this is with logging set to detailed.

Ok, problem solved. You need to use v3.newzbin.com
For next version it will be possible to use just newzbin.com
