PAR2 - save those not processed yet between restarts?
« on: January 05, 2008, 01:48:40 am »
Right now, I know of two choices (with 0.25.0), I can either save ALL par2 entries, or none if I reboot my PC or otherwise restart Alt.Binz. Neither is perfect, in fact what would be nice would be to save par2 entries until they unrar successfully, and then delete them.

Also, it would be nice to set the download list to clear when the download is done, or after some customizable number of days from completion.

Have I missed a setting or is the above a feature request? Those might be worth donating towards/for.

I think you'll find what you need by playing with the options in Setup > Miscellaneous > Cleanup.  That will handle timed cleanup of anything in the queue that's at 100%, and anything in PAR2 tab at the end of the checking/repairing/unraring cycle, whichever is selected.

And of course, there's always the manual option: Cleanup button on main toolbar.

:)

Edit: Also, if I understand your post right, make sure you've checked the Setup > PAR2 > 'Save PAR2 tab info on exit' option.
