I’m new to alt.binz so please bear with me – I’ve read though the formum but, apologies, don’t understand all of the replies, so hoping someone can help me.
On the PAR2 tab I have a couple of blocks missing. Right click to repair PAR2 then gives Repair failed. What should I try next?

Many thanks - much appreciated

What I do, and this may not be the best or widely accepted way, I just unpause a few par files in the queue and let it try to repair again.
-
There should be info in log why it had failed.

You need to download more of the par2 files ( ******volx+volx.par2). If you run par2 outside altbinz it will tell you that you need x number of par2 "blocks" to correct the file. Under the download que you should find other par2 files that are "paused". Click on these files, unpause them and the file rar files should correct themselves.

WOW! Thanks everyone for all the replies. I tried unpausing a few of the par2 files and this worked a treat - many, many thanks. :)
Now...
...another problem.
Unraring one of the files I get the following:
! D:\... download\Something S03 DVDRip XviD REWARD\Something .s03e12.dvdrip.xvid-reward.r03: Unexpected end of archive
! D:\... download\Something S03 DVDRip XviD REWARD\Something .s03e12.dvdrip.xvid-reward.r08: Unexpected end of archive
! D:\... \download\Something S03 DVDRip XviD REWARD\Something .s03e12.dvdrip.xvid-reward.r11: Unexpected end of archive
And yet the files look like they've downloaded OK - or am I missing something:

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

it would stil be helpful if u could find the error messages in the log form that repairing problem, because acording to the par tab there should have been enough pars to repair. the unraring problem is most likely that there are still files missing from that collection. sometimes by mistake the amount of rars included in the par set is less than the amount of rar the collection actualy has.
