Title: pink or green ?
Post by: ritekgirl on February 08, 2007, 03:35:15 pm
Hi, I'm a total newsgroup newbie.

Would someone kindly explain what the difference is between the pink or green background on searches and/or in the par2 tab?

Thanks in anticipation.

Green usually means that a post is completely posted without errors. Pink or red usually means a post is incomplete, which in turn means you're gonna need PAR2 blocks to repair the download. If you're a beginner I'd suggest checking sites like http://www.binaries4all.com/

In searches green means post is 100% complete, a red means it is incomplete. BUT if there is pars for that post you can download even incomplete posts with >90% completeness. In par2 tab grean means than file is complete and checked, and red that file still isn't checked or incomplete (take a look on column blocks).
