Problem with A NZB...

I have a problem with a NZB where each part is missing a block. Since the first par is small, I don't get it. And, yes I can recreate this problem with this NZB.

i guess you are using giganews?

that problem sometimes exists for some posts, cus of a dmca notice. Each file is missing the first part then.
Normaly you can download them all and then repair them with pars. It will porbably not work with Altbint, cus the pars are alo missing one part each. You have to use Quickpar for that.
Other providers should have those files complete.

The rights holder, or the MPAA or whoever sent the DMCA takedown notice wins one.

This will happen if there are more files posted than recovery blocks posted and you use Giganews only.
If there are more recovery blocks than files, it should be repairable.

If you're stubborn and ready to do some tedious work, it's possible to download only the missing articles from another server, decode them and combine the files with a file joiner.  You would need some other newsreader than alt.binz to get the missing articles.

Configuring a fill server (cheap block account server or free server) avoids the whole problem.

if you have an unlimted accout you can just add a block account from another provider as backupserver and download it again. Altbinz will autom. switch to the backupserver if a part is missing.
