Problems With Add to Queue, The Queue, and Downloading

Hey everyone. I just switched from Newsleecher to Altbinz because I was dissatisfied with their product and customer support.

Unfortunately, it seems as though I'm experiencing a few problems with Altbinz. A lot of the times, when I search for a file and right click and select add to queue, it does NOTHING. I have to select add to queue repeatedly for it to work, and sometimes it won't even do it at all. When it does in fact add the file to my queue, sometimes it won't download. I have no idea why; I'm connected. And I'm sure it's not paused in some way.

Anyone know what's causing these two problems? Thanks!

Once you try to add things to queue you have to wait few seconds for nzb to download which is clearly indicated by search button.

I've waited up to 5 minutes for the download to start and it hasn't. What do you mean by it's indicated on the search function? Where? Thanks!

I'm going to go for some of the more obvious things here.

If you're adding to the queue from NLSS, that might explain the first problem - a lot of issues with their servers and dropped connections (you should see a message on the NLSS tab after a successful export/import to queue).  Easy enough to test by trying to download same NZBs from one of the other search engines.  If you see the same problem, you need to press the RDL ACTIVATION BUTTON again.

Second problem: your log (set as detailed) should have all the information you need about any issues with downloading.  Maybe your news provider doesn't have the articles.  In any case, it should be straightforward to diagnose the problem by looking through your log - or this will at least eliminate the most likely candidates.

I have the same problem as mentioned in this topic. I use NewsLeecher as well. Also to test Alt Binz. First a copy of my log:

The problem stays all the time, I can search and queue them for download. In the log I see connecting with Eweka, but no download at all??? I also tried the same files with NewsLeecher which didnot gave any problem. So what is the difference??? It looks like I am for a closed door with the right key but the door doesnot open???

In my settings is nothing set as default to be paused. The mentioned file is the NZB which I normally use to start the total download. I used the same NZB in NewsLeecher which automatically started the download without problems. But Alt Binz didnot start anything. And if it was paused as you mentioned, I paused/unpaused it several times to try out it will start to download, but this didnot work.

I used the SS licence ID from NewsLeecher, or do I need another LicenceID???

I also tried another NZB for a test, which started direct. So yes, I think the problem is within the NZB.

Maybe it's not a valid / expired license. Do you get 'Please register...' under group/poster in NL SS results
