RSS downloads - video only (no nfo file)?

Hi,

I have my RSS filters setup to automate downloading a few TV shows, with all the filters setup to unrar to a different folder.  Right now, alt.binz creates a folder for the release (ShowName.S01E01.HDTV.x264-Group) in the download folder which holds the nfo file while the video file is automatically moved into show-specific folders.

My problem is that my download folder is littered with all these folders for each release that all have a single usually meaningless nfo file.  I'm wondering if there's any way to skip the nfo file and download only the video file for RSS downloads so the entire process is completely automated?

Please note that I don't want completely disable nfo file downloads -- for files I add via the Newzleech search, I like to keep the nfo files -- just not for RSS downloads, which are all TV shows.

Two possibilities:

1. Check Setup > NZB > Import as Paused > nfo files, then whenever you import manually, unpause the nfo manually in the queue (the +/- filter with 'nfo' helps here).

2. Add an Execute Command on Completion to each RSS filter to delete the download folder when done.  See the Wiki for pointers.

Settings-> Unrar-> Move to unrar folder -> Check *.nfo (maybe add also *.sfv)

should empty you Showname folder... Using the "delete empty folder after successful unrar" option should clear up the mess in the future. But this will aply to all sources.

a 4th posibilty is to download directly to your show specifiy folder.

worth a try:
5th possibilty disable creating folders by the name of the collection in the download dir... this way the litter in the download folder is only nfo's not folders which could contain important files

Only problem with #5 is I like the folders for one-off things like movies (keeps the MKV and NFO in the same place).

I'm trying #3 right now -- I'll update you once some new shows get posted tonight ;-).
