Title: rss feeds error

hi all, apologies i hope this is ok - been a loooooong time member and only coming back to trying to setup rss feeds in at least a decade - i dont see many complete guides or anything current.

I'm trying to add a new rss feed and getting the error "error while writing rss data. contact the author..." any ideas ?
Any current or updated guides u can point me to, thanks

Looks like file permission problem. There is a problem writing /misc/rssdb.abz file. Maybe try deleting that file before running altbinz and see if it will be recreated. Are files updated in misc folder?

thanks for the reply, sorry for the delay, but i dont have a /misc folder ?
I literally only have two folders - /lang and /openssl , is that the problem ? I'm on win11 now

Check Users/_user_/Appdata/local/alt.binz folder

ah thanks, yep i deleted that file, it re-created it and now when i add the rss feed it seems to work, thanks again

does anyone have updated links for how to setup the rss filters ? None of the stickies seem to have any info ?
