Hi all,

i got quite excited when i read about the rss filter in this program so i decided to try it out.
Thing is, i read through
http://www.altbinz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1127

and did excactly as described in there to add the rss feed of my premium account on newzbin, but apparently i haven't done everything right since it's not anywhere near working. I was wondering if any of you could help me out.

Alt.Binz downloads a .nzb file but it has html inside it.

no matter how many times i try to goto a rss feed and copy/paste the link to alt.binz and the cookie information i just can't get it working...

here's my rss feed
i edited the keys in this url just in case

Code: [Select]

http://v3.newzbin.com/browse/category/p/movies/?ps_rb_video_format=16&feed=rss&fauth=someauthcode:COOKIE:NzbSessionID=alongsessionid93023%3d;NzbSmoke=Smokeeyyy3d3%kfe

thanks for your help guys! it's very much appreciated.

If you are using 0.25.1+, then read this article:

http://www.altbinz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1127

I had the same problem, but after reading that post, I learned how to fix the Newsbinz cookie and faust stuff. Now everything works great and Alt.Binz does exactly what I want it to do.

If you don't have 0.25.1+, I guess you will have to wait until the next public release or better still check out my signature and help out the cause. :)

Good Luck...

Log in to Newzbin again and do the javascript:document.cookie thing to get new codes.

This really doesn't warrant another thread, so I'm closing this one - please use the stickied thread if you need to continue the discussion.
