RSS NZBMatrix will not queue

Looked everywhere and saw a many posts on this and they all say "fixed"  Anyway to point in the right direction with this problem?

This RSS url:  http://rss.nzbmatrix.com/rss.php?page=download&username=puddybrain&apikey=XXXXX&subcat=53&english=1
works like a champ.  Got the filters all in there i.e.
;Include:
    *ROFLMAO* | A
;Deny:
    *GERMAN* | D

List populates on refresh, and with timer, but nothing happens.  I can start queue manually without any problems as well.
Using AB v33.4 and VIP with nzb

Am i headed in the right direction?

So, on Timer do you have items highlighted green that aren't added to the queue? Or is everything red?

The strange answer is no, strange because that was working before I tried the API set-up. The simple answer is, however, no.

How come when you click on "Add" a blank window of Alt.Binz opens?? That's weird.

I also can't get RSS downloads to start automatically....  Has anyone tried going backwards to see if previous versions still work with autodownload?

Ignore Add, that's for multiple feeds, not yet fully implemented. Autodownload works 100%. See the wiki for more guidance.

I cant get this to work at all, please help.

I tried NZBMatrix (have a free account) as well as many other sites.. I put a simple filter in, but I can't get anything queued..

Could someone post me a free link and a sample filter that I can just test to see if I'm doing something wrong.

I just tried to add an rss from here as well and setup a filter but it doesn't work.

I've read the wiki read every post on the forums.. but I think it's the source that i'm using which is not compatible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Again, please define what you mean by "it doesn't work". Does the timer work? Does the feed return results? Are all of these highlighted red? Are any highlighted green but not added to queue?

First I'd like to say thank you for the replies and I apologize for the lack of understanding on my part.

I use NGroups.net as my usenet provider and that's all I got..

I'm going to do a step by step and perhaps you can tell me where I'm going wrong.

Ok I'm taking this link

and pasting in into the RSS url section, then I do a refresh and I get a list of all the files.

Then I click on the Filters box and in there i type in:

 *South* | A

I then click on Timer (which is set at 10) and wait.. nothing happens and I let it sit there for hours....

I've tried this with different rss sources as well as http://rss.nzbmatrix.com to be able to include username and password if needed.

Thank you and hope it's just something simple I'm not understanding.

Yes, it's simple. Start Timer with a clear tab - don't click Refresh first, as filters will only be applied to new items with Timer enabled. When you start the Timer, Alt.Binz will check the current state of the feed for you, so that's how to test your filters.
