How do I display the complete content of a certain newsgroup?
« on: January 13, 2011, 10:35:03 am »
Hi there at alt.binz forum

I have a quest on the newsgroups tab. Until now, i did not understand at all what I could do with it.  :-[ What is it for?  :-[ :-[ :-[

And, ( :-\ maybe this one is a request, don´t know if I just couldn´t find how to if or the feature is not available) I seek for a way to display me the entire content of a newsgroup, for example alt.binaries.mac, in order to see, if there might be something interesting. It happens, that I do not know what to search for ???, especially in mac groups, where naming is often a insider wow cool thing, and displaying everything helps.

Any suggestions?  :D

Thanks, stay tuned,
Ralf

the newsgroup is for displaying and updating the list newsgroups your provider carries. you can choose favorites from those which u can then search via xpat if your provider allows xpat searches. but if possible at all this process is extremly slow (can easily take 30+ min for just one bigger newsgroup) for browsing the content of specific newsgroup it is therefore better to use the browsing feature of mysterbin, binsearch or aeton. alternativly u can also use blank searches on the other search-tabs that offer the option to limit the search to a single newsgroup, but keep in mind that, unlike with orginal browsing, your normal search-filters such as age size ect apply aswell...
