vers. 25.0 Binserach :Fetch (All groups) produces "Error during transfer"

None of the  search engines are working for me.  I get messages of either " no result" (Newsleech,NZBindex) or,
"Error during transfer" (Binsearch)
The helping materials I read, were of no help . can anibody  help me (I'm a humble, pedestrian  "newbie !)
