Some threads cannot connect

Hi,

last few days in particular i have just noticed a problem with some of the threads that wont connect. 

I have 50 connections available but for some reason most of the time it seems as though a good 10-20 of them "could not connect (retry in Xsec)"

Any ideas how i can diagnose why this might be happening ?

Im on 39.12 latest, and have been using alt.binz for ever - only just having this issue lately and obviously with not all threads connecting, my speeds are slower than im used to.

What did your usenet provider say when you asked them this question?

I think 50 threads is to much. Anyway try comparing 0.39.12 with 0.39.9 and post the results.

just FYI in case anyone else has the issue - my Avast upgraded to version 8 a few days ago and it seems it started blocking some of the connections from alt.binz.

So thats where the issue was.
