SSL not working anymore / Linux Wine
« on: June 11, 2009, 05:49:08 pm »
Hi!

So far, I have been successfully using Alt.Binz up to version 0.28.x with Wine in Ubuntu. Then the NLSS didn't work anymore, and I was looking forward to the new fixed release. Got the new version 0.31.1, however now I can't use the SSL connection anymore ("Could not connect").
I have tried it on 3 different computers, with 2 different routers, 2 different usenet providers. In every single scenario, I have the same problem.

Btw ver 0.28. is still working with SSL on the same computer.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for this update, but I found a problem running alt.binz under wine. It connects fine to a server without using SSL, but as soon as you enable SSL it doesn't connect, and yes I'm using the right settings (ssl port)...

EDIT: It seems its a wine issue, installing the latest dev version (Wine 1.1.22) fixed that issue..
