Having a problem where Yenc encoded files are not being decoded properly, they now have the file extension on end as follows
***.rar.yEnc.txt
same for other file extension types, they all have suffix .yEnc.txt on end now.
I have searched forum and not really found any recent posts which are helpful, anyone any ideas?
-
What do you see when you open those files in Notepad? If you remove .yEnc.txt from the filename, are they valid binaries?
-
in notepad they look like as follows, this is an .nfo file. it was renamed ***.nfo.yEnc.txt. I have removed about 20 lines in middle.
ybegin part=1 total=1 line=128 size=4507 name=**********.nfo
=ypart begin=1 end=4507

removed lines from here as similar to above line.

when i rename to nfo it does not open properly, it opens with txt like above so looks to me that it is not being decoded.

fixed now, deleted config by deleting misc folder, put alt binz in C:\altbinz just in case there was permission issues, all working now :)

I have this problems right now. Tried deleting the misc folder . It does not happen with every nzb, but it still happens.
-
I am experiencing this exact issue with many nzb. Deleting the misc folder made no difference.
