Title: Strange Speed Issue

Hi all,

I have been using alt.binz for about 2 years now and absoluetly love it! I have never had any issues with it either!

However starting today the speed of my downloads has dropped dramatically from 3.00MB/s to 0.50 MB/s. I find this really bizarre as I have since done a line test www.speedtest.net and the results show 2.96 MB/s, so there is nothing wrong at all there.

I have double checked all my settings in alt.binz and still cannot find where the issue is.

The only co-inscidence is that I installed a registry cleaner program yesterday, I dont know whether that has anything to do with it.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Same here happend to me yesterday, i though maybe someone was stealing my bandwidth but that wasnt the case, also went to Myspeed.com and all was ok. i am also having issues with  Newest Version of Alt.binz :o/

Speedtest results are not relevant when it comes to nntp downloading. Anyway, you can always try another news program to confirm if your speed problems are alt.binz related.
