changing MainToolbarButtonWidth not working?
« on: January 31, 2010, 05:36:44 am »
i just bought a new 22in lcd monitor and now my icons are slightly squished and i want to change the toolbar width. during a forum search it says to edit the english.abz file in the lang folder. well i did that and it doesnt seem to work. no matter what value i put into "MainToolbarButtonWidth" it stays the same. i have vista 64bit computer. altbinz is installed in c:\program files (x86)\Altbinz and C:\Users\AppData\Local\Altbinz\lang is where the lang folder is. i even tried copying the lang folder to the other location(c:\program files (x86)\Altbinz) with no luck either. Any ideas?

You have to also manually select the language under Setup > User Interface for this to work.  This won't change the aspect of any text or images, though, if that's what you mean by "squished", it will just pad out the buttons.

P.S. The Shift key is on the left of your keyboard, just below Caps Lock.

Great.  Maybe you'll make progress also with your broken Shift key before your next post.
