Two Computers

Desktop computer was working fine with altbinz....I put it on my laptop (same one I downloaded for my desktop) and set it up and it works fine....However the one on my desktop will now not connect....Does it have something to do with putting the same download on two computers by any chance?

I have checked all setting on my desktop and even went through all the servers connections and they are all fine...Do not receive any error messages it will just not connect and download from newserver.

You should update to latest version.

When you installed on laptop you tried to authnticate with wrong password and then have changed password on forum and authenticated fine on laptop. However desktop is trying to authenticate based on your old password.
So, on desktop, go into altbinz->setup->Press 'Clear login button', restart altbinz, enter your forum login data and you should be fine.
