Alt.binx 2.5 settings not being saved in vista.
« on: February 10, 2008, 07:05:39 pm »
Hi Guys
This is driving me wild I am running binz in vista and it wont save my settings.
I have tried everything suggested on here with no joy.
I was running 64bit until this afternoon where I have rebuilt my machine to 32bit as I thought this may be causing my issues and its no different.
Any Ideas

No tried that.
I did have UAC switched off.
I have just switched it on and Binz starting holding its config I am just testing it now.
I will post my results.

As far as i know, with later versions this problem seems te be solved.
Don't use vista myself (TG)
Maybe a vista masochist can help you any further  :P

Put the Alt.Binz exe in a new folder outside of C:\Program Files and launch, then try saving new settings.

Sweet
I really wish i had known that about 12hrs ago.

It worked a treat Binz seems to be sucking up more CPU cycles but it is holding its configuration perfectly.
