VyprVPN and alt.binz
« on: March 26, 2010, 12:55:25 pm »
Hi all

I've just purchased a usenet access through Giganews (http://www.giganews.com/) and they offer VyprVPN (http://vyprvpn.goldenfrog.com/) for free which is pretty cool.

Now my question is will I be able to use Alt Binz with a VPN? I get different IP's each time I connect to my VPN and I can see from the forum that the paid versions have some sort of authentication. Will rule 3 (3. You're allowed to use it at 3 computers max.) end up getting me banned since I'm connecting from different IP's each time I reset my connection?

No, you wont be able to use it. Infact whole goldenfrog range is banned. Save some money and go for much better usenet provider like astra.

as far as i know u could just turn of vpn for a couple seconds at each Alt.Binz start and turn it up again after authorisation, maybe turn it off if u downbload an update aswell but other than that it should work...
