Title: Windows 7 x64 AltBinz Freeze
Post by: i0X on March 02, 2010, 09:55:58 pm
I have been using AltBinz for about 6 months and absolutely love it. Just recently the application started to freeze randomly without notice. At this point in time, AltBinz freezes as soon as I run it. I have cleaned out my appData folders and downloaded the newest version to no avail.

As I said in the topic I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I am sure that my computer is virus and malware free.

Any ideas?

There could be a password protected rar-file in your auto import folder (where NZBs are imported from).

I did turn on auto import last time I used it ?

I have deleted the directory that the auto import was linked to but I am still unable to
make AltBinz work to make any other changes it just says the same thing.

I DID A RESET AND IT HAS WORKED NOW THANK YOU.

I just wanted to say thanks I had this problem today and was going crazy. I unistalled and reinstalled multiple times trying to isolate the problem. I figured out it was the autoimport but did not know why it just stopped working. It turned out to be a password protected rar. I have no idea why this causes an issue when one is in the folder but it does.

Issue with password protected rar in autoimport folder should be fixed now.
