A (not so for rdl) simple solution for the forum credentials would be a simple php script on the server side that uses the PHPBB authentication to check the credentials and communicates with AB over some form of encryption.

but yeah an auto update would be nice. I only just updated to 0.27.0

I don't understand why we have to make a choice as to how we will be doing updates? Why not just code the options in and give us a choice on our end like Windows update does? It seems a little silly to just choose one way and fly by it does it not? Then again I am a programmer and I personally feel that if it's possible to add all the options in without a real penalty to the software then why the hell not? End users seem to love choice.

Hehehe... and if you press "No" too many times, it just does a forced shutdown. You made it all clear, we certainly don't want to have some Windows Update routine.

Just keep it as is. C'mon, is it too much to ask to login into the forum and download the new version? Ok, I'm lazy too, but this hasn't caused my any inconvenience.

It sucks that we can't edit post after a while anyway even if this doesn't happen I have my automiate checker for all my apps anyway always running. So I mostly know the instant a update is released.
