NZB#2 > Import as paused > par2 recovery files if size is larger then XX bytes does not work with new par2 vol naming scheme which is current standard for nzb files.

All par2 volumes download no matter what size indicated in box[/b]

old naming scheme
S01.DVDRip.x264-.par2 (only this file would download) and the rest depends on setting under NZB#2
S01.DVDRip.x264-.vol000+02.par2
S01.DVDRip.x264-.vol002+04.par2
S01.DVDRip.x264-.vol006+08.par2
S01.DVDRip.x264-.vol014+16.par2

new naming scheme

file.DVDRip.x264.vol-01.par2
file.DVDRip.x264.vol-02.par2
file.DVDRip.x264.vol-03.par2
file.DVDRip.x264.vol-04.par2
file.DVDRip.x264.vol-05.par2
file.DVDRip.x264.vol-06.par2

new naming schemes all files download even if under "NZB#2""import as paused" section "par2 recovery files if size larger than" is specified

For the next time (altbinz closed):

to delete queue you need to delete "queue" folder
to delete par2 you need to delete this file: "/misc/par2info.abz" (file is in misc subfolder)

I tried to delete all items in par2 tab, but it did not work. The Item gets marked to delete, but nothing happens. I tried 4 times.. all files, 1 file, use cleanup button. No item gets removed

So i opened data dir under Roaming and deleted all. Then i copied back config and servers.#

And now its working! Files are now downloaded and extracted correct.

That looks like no par2 file has been loaded.
I would do following:

Go into queue tab - delete everything
Go into par2 tab - delete everything
Close altbinz
Wait couple of seconds
Start altbinz
verify that there is nothing in queue or par2 tabs
Import nzb, do not start downloading, expand imported collection - verify that there is small par2 file and that it's at the top and not paused
Start downloading.
As soon as small par2 file disappears from collection - verify that it's loaded into par2 tab. Then monitor download progress in queue/ in par2 / in folder.

Yeah, the one in top of unpack section referes to rar/7zip operations.

Hi,

i have a problem since about a month? At some day the download is not working any more, there are only random files in folder. I did not change anything on the pc. Perhaps windows updates, but i dont know

System: Windows 10 pro
Altbinz: 0.48.4.7 + .5
Strange thing: its workling on my laptop
NZBs: from NZBPlanet

Did you go into setup and enable that option? It is not enabled by default.
