Title: 64 bit Version
Post by: fideliovienna on October 11, 2009, 12:36:50 am
Hi,

would be nice to get a 64 bit Version.
Alt.Binz is not a RAM-Eater, but though it would be nice, because you could use more RAM-Cache for big files and if running in background it would leave more RAM for other programs, espacially for games with are not 64 bit compatible.

As i already wrote, also a Cache like 1000 MB uses the 32 bit-Adresses of RAM, like all other 32 bit-Application and in my case Alt.Binz is always running in Backgroud while gaming or doing RAW conversion of photos.
If u use a 64 bit-Version of Windows every 32 bit-Application isn´t running native and therefore not ideal.

It was just a question, it can´t be done by now, no prob, Alt.Binz stays the best newsreader available  :)
