Can you add another Join command in altbinz context menu that Join nzb files name with it's own nzb name ?
example :
- my all joined nzb files ( expanded )
|
- first nzb name ( expanded )
filename.r01
filename.r02
filename.r03
filename.r04
- second nzb name ( expanded )
filename.r01
filename2.r02
filename2.r03
filename2.r04
And make each nzb file name has it's own files.
because join command is mix all files together in just one folder.
Note: when downloading movies i want to select all movies and join it to one folder named MyMovies,
so all the movies will be download to this folder.
also each movie has it's own nzb folder name.
it's the same like default download folder option in altbinz.
But this with Join command.
The same things when downloading other categories ( Games, Apps etc..)
It's like sorting categories with join command.
thanks

All of the specific things you've asked for beyond the visual organisation of the queue are covered by Setup > Download > Categories.
Since you see the 'joining' method as a way of organising NZBs into categories, there's little practical difference to how things currently are - either Alt.Binz does this automatically based on your defined categories, or you do it manually via right-click > 'Set category', which is basically the same as what you're proposing for right-click > join, but with the added confusion of a new top-level 'NZB' that isn't actually an NZB.
Being able to sort on categories is another matter, grouping on categories another matter again. You really need to ask yourself why either of these are actually needed, though, in ways that aren't covered by current Alt.Binz functionality.

yes i want it to be manually via right-click.
i need it because they are important when downloading a lot of nzb with different group or categories files every day.
so all joined files will be downloading in it's own categories after manually join it.
-
I understand what you want, but it defeats whole purpose of queue design.
That way all nzbs in first category must be downloaded before starting to download 2nd category. Not very practical.
-
i know it maybe be difficult.
but if it done it will be great and useful.
-
He's not saying it's difficult to group NZBs in the queue, he's saying it's pointless.
-
I mean it's not difficult for him for sure to code it.
but it will maybe difficult to anyone to understand it until they use it.
So it will be very useful at least for me.
-
You keep saying that it would be useful, but without explaining why or how. The examples of actual functionality you've given are already provided by Alt.Binz.

I have explained it in my post 2 : " They are important when downloading a lot of nzb with different categories files every day, so all joined files will be downloading in it's own categories after manually join it "
The normal join command join all files in one folder and the files will be mixed!
example when downloading Movies and Games and TV-series etc...
So the new join command will let me join the selected nzb movie files in one nzb, then manually rename this nzb name to Movies.
the same to games and other categories.
this will be useful for anyone who downloading a lot of files ( movies,0day,games,tv-series etc. )
so join each nzb file manually via right-click will be more than good.

Currently the answer is no.
