I'd like to request a user selectable change to the "Transferred Bytes" counter.
Not the easiest request to explain without an example, so here goes...
I have 2 newsgroups accounts;
- a free one with my ISP, unlimited data/bandwidth, but only 7 days retention
- a "pay-as-you-go" deal with Astraweb, where by i purchase a block of bandwidth (180GB)
So, what i do is run with the 2 servers setup as primary and backup, this way everything i grab comes form the Primary server (ISP) first, and then from the Secondary/Backup server (Astraweb) should it be outside my retention period.
Now, as i don't give a crap about the bandwidth consumed whilst connected to the Primary server, i would really prefer not to have that count to the "bytes transferred" counter, thus allowing me to monitor my usage on paid for server.
So is it possible for use to have an extra option in the server configuration settings page of "include this server in the transferred bytes counter" with a tick box to select it.
