Is there anyway possible to have the program automatically update to the latest version please ? Thank you.

+1 for this, was just about to post the same idea.

Hey Rdl, have you considered making an auto-updater, or at least an integrated update downloader into AltBinz?  Might make life easier for both us and you.

Maybe security is the issue as to why it hasn't been done yet! Since maybe also the software would have to have your forum login details stored with it also, besides any others you may have there. Making altbinz more open to abuse and less secure. Or maybe RDL hasn't worked out yet how it could be done.

If it was done with hope the only option would be like this. New Altbinz version with changes listed. Then only gives option to download new altbinz to a directory of your choice on the same pc. You then only have to do as now unpack and drop or copy files into the altbinz main folder. Then would be download new version of altbinz without needing to visiting the forum, to download it.

I think we already discussed this, but this is the main reason there is no autoupdate feature. It all comes down to no forum traffic, discussions -> no motivation for me to work on the new version.

I agree on what you have wrote. Altbinz is healthier for having no auto update feature.
