Rare but sometimes small par doesn't exist, but there are big PARs with recovery blocks. The smallest of them should be dl 1st so downloaded files can be auto checked.

thats a good one, just had the same case.
after manually downloading the smallest of the par-set and importing it on the par2-tab, alt binz did what it does best ;)

Would also be nice, if it checks for the existens of a .par file, when a .par2 doesn't. Happens sometimes, that a persons puts a .par instead of .par2 (as the index/start file).

However, it would be nice in any case, that the program would be able to use another file in the par-set if neither .par or .par2 exists.

Just my 2 cents.
