Delete downloaded files option
« on: February 03, 2012, 08:31:39 pm »
I would like too see an option to delete the downloaded/extracted files and folders by right clicking on an item in the download queue. Another idea would be to do delete the files when pressing SHIFT-DEL.
I think this would be a usefeul feature (that's already implemented in other usenet clients), so I don't have to delete a thing twice (from the download queue and from explorer).

If by any change the option is already present, I'm sorry but I couldn't find it anywhere...

The items in the download queue do not, however, persist - they will disappear if they don't contain any paused files. Perhaps implement the delete as a function of Download History instead?

Unless this is the behaviour you expect/want - perhaps expand on the use-case a bit for us?

In my settings, the par2 files are imported as paused, so the items in download queue persist.
I use the download queue a lot (to open the download folder, to keep track of my downloaded files), so an option to delete the files (including unrared files) would make things easier.

And if Alt.Binz autounpauses all the par2s to repair? To be consistent, at least, an option to persist empty queue entries would first need to be added.

On the other hand, most users seem to use autocleanup, so this wouldn't be useful for them at all.
