I originally posted in
this thread. However, it started to get kinda messy/long. So I've split off a few downloading related requests to this thread.
1. Option to import a nzb directly from a search tab, perhaps on a right-click menu. Sometimes the collections available on a search are incomplete, or have the wrong name; in those cases I sometimes download the nzb directly. However when I do this, then I have to browse to the download dir, import it manually, and delete the empty download dir.
2. Ignore the option "import already downloaded as paused" when the current file is incomplete and is not already queued (duplicate). I occasionally get incompletes from RSS and need to repair. Currently this involves switching back and forth between download and par2 to check files and unpause them.
3. The auto-pause feature should be ignored if the nzb only contains a single auto-paused filetype. For instance, a single nzb, or only pars, or whatever.
4. Extend the functionality of "merge collections with same name on import" to recognize previously downloaded items (no longer in queue window, still stored in history). This could be implemented as a toggle or prompt. I'm sure there's someone who would site a valid reason to download it twice to a different directory, but I have no idea how.
