Title: Email notification when complete
Post by: necrocowboy on September 12, 2009, 04:18:49 pm
Had a search but couldn't find anything similar.

I download using a low power PC that is always on but running as a headless device (no monitor / keyboard).  I have this set to download & UnRAR into a network share - at the minute, there is no easy way of telling when a download has completed apart from either RDP to the download box or checking the network folder.  The latter of these isn't reliable as you can't tell if it still downloading or if there was a problem with extraction.

Can a feature be added to email generate an SMPT mail or Windows message on status e.g.download complete, RAR complete; download complete; RAR error

Thanks
