Sometimes the small PAR2 file is missing or corrupt. alt.binz won't check any files in that case. However, one of the recovery PAR2 files could be unpaused automatically and used to verify the downloads.
Did I mention that alt.binz blows Newsleecher out of the water? ;)

I have noticed many posts recently with the small .par2 missing but loads of pars present, would be nice if altbinz could detect that the small .par2 was broken and automagically download a larger parset file until it found one that wasn't entirely broken and used that instead to do the parchecking process. Keep up the awesome work :)

+1 for me as well :)
specially when sometimes there is an issue retreiving the par2 index file and you're left stumped wondering why your stuff didn't auto repair/extract like it's supposed to :)

in the meantine just set the limit for pausing par2 files up so that alt least one of them is downloaded... if u've got a flatrate that would do the job...
