Like many of us who are not from Sweden, I have bandwidth constraints so I am constantly using the speed functions of my usenet client to distribute bandwidth between internet applications. Newsleecher has a very convenient and precise method of setting a specific target quickly using its 'bandwidth limit slider'.
Although I find alt.binz superior in every other way, the method it uses to change bandwidth limits by 10% grades on the fly is fairly imprecise and indirect (it is easier to set exact bandwidth than a % of bandwidth). I would appreciate something like a bandwidth slider or at least the ability to quickly input a specific number as a bandwidth limit -- for example, an empty bandwidth limit box in the bottom left alt.binz taskbar instead of or in addition to the right-click 'current bandwidth limit' setting.

Yep, I agree with this one. The scheduler and percentage limits are definitely useful but it would nice to have a feature whereby the could set a specific target over a period of time. For instance, a user could set Alt.Binz to only download 5GB between the hours of 00:00 -> 09:00.

I believe these are actually two different requests: one for a speed limiter, one for a download limiter.
