I second this request.
Couple a ng servers are atm giving away free access with very decent speed for IPv6 testers.

Yeah I know I could use tunneling and/or proggies like newsbinpro or Binary News Reaper that are ipV6 native compatible but screw them, Altbinz all the way !!!

Yes, that would be great!

According to http://en.cship.org/wiki/Free_Usenet_Newsservers_with_alt.binaries, there are at least 2 decent newsgroups servers you can use for free when you are connected via IPv6 or a IPv4-to-IPv6 tunnel.

It seems like it used to work in an old version of alt.binz: https://www.altbinz.net/forum/index.php?topic=369.0
Would be great if anyone got that to work with current alt.binz and can post a tutorial on that here.

regards,
cider

1st: you need IPV6 tunnel (not gonna discuss that) and have ipv6 enabled in your os

2nd:

(run->cmd ...)

netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=119 connectaddress=your.ipv6.newsserver.com connectport=119

3.) create server in abz... server=localhost port=119 (listenport)

works like with regular servers
