Its really hard to read white text on a green background. For some reason on all the Dark Themes I use at night so I don't blind my eyes, they get rid of black text when you expand an item. I kinda wish there was a section to customize colors.  Maybe with HTML values for generic areas, like Background, text, line items, etc.  But all I really want is to get rid of white on green!  Just a simple fix! Anyone else hate this?  I would rather have a darker color as the background so its not so harsh on the eyes at night.   That is the Superiority Theme in the PIC below and is also true of SmartStyle
#006633        Maybe like this?
#333333        Maybe like that?
#CCFFCC        But Not Like This   ;)
#0066CC        The Threads Section uses this blue color scheme already

I agree. It annoys me too.

I definitely agree that white on pale green is indeed unreadable.
why not leave the same color as the default theme for the text area, or maybe change the light blue background for a light gray?

i just thought of something, why not have that right click menu that was there earlier and had this "tree controls color" option so that the superiority theme can be used without this insane white on green blinding effect?

I agree too.

I like the Superioríty Skin so much but the White Text
on the light Green is very annoying to me.

Pls RDL can you help us at this maybe in a Future
Version.

Best Regards

agreed, this might be a small configuration but would make the program look a whole lot better and be much more customizable.

Well, I promised before skin editor. That is the final goal regarding skins/looks. But for now in next version check out superiority skin on download queue tab. I'll modify a few things and based on your feedback I'll make a note what must be changed.

no changes for smartstyle, smstyle blue and superiority concerning search-tabs and rss, but in the explorer the white font is easier to read than black.

Well, the white font together with the green background is still a nightmare.
Only the Newsleech toolbar seems to adapt the skin colors or at least it looks different from the other ones.

*keeps on using the Windows 7 skin for now*

oh sorry i didn't read carefully enough. For text the green and red font works fine with smartstyle and superiority and a little less so with smartstyle blue, but i doesn't go well together with the progressbar in the queue because font and bar color are to simular. This goes for the collection bar aswell as the one for each file, but the one for each file is worse.

Ooops... Like davidq666 I have overlooked that... *shame*

Despite of that there has something changed to the Newsleech 'search' toolbar, or how do you call that thing, which now skinwise behaves different from the other ones.
This wasn't the case in 0.31.6. I'm sure everything will be fixed though.  ;D
