Title: Option to "wait" between NZB downloads via RSS
Post by: BrokenPixel on May 18, 2010, 10:27:16 am
Just thought it would be nice to have the option to have Alt.Binz wait x amount of seconds between downloading each NZB via RSS???

At least give us an explation why you think this will add some value to the program. :)

Sorry for the late reply, the reason I thought this might benefit is because of the problems NZBmatrix have been having lately with their RSS feeds. Currently they have it set so only one NZB can be downloaded via RSS every 60 seconds to help with server load.

I understand this limitation will probably be removed soon but just thought it would be good to have to option so the RSS feature can still be used while the limits are in place.

Thanks!

Alt.Binz used to have this in earlier versions, but then:

0.28.1
* no more 1min waiting between rss nzb downloads

I agree that a user-configurable option would be a good thing, as probably when autodownloading there isn't much call for all NZBs to be queued right away.  Manual grabs from the RSS list could override this.
