Add/move to collection...
« on: October 24, 2007, 03:03:05 pm »
I've been using the newzbin search a lot lately and I found it rather cumbersome to add different things to one collection. Would it be possible to add an extra menu ("Add to collection...") inside the "Add" menu that will list all current collection currently in the download queue. Choosing one will add selected files into that collection.

Something like this:

And, maybe the same could be done for the "Move" menu in the download queue. Basically moving files from one collection to another.

And something on a side note. What are the chances of having files that are already in the queue have marked somehow or maybe hide form the search results.

That's all I have, thanks.

I'll add it as you proposed, just for newzbin tab for now and we'll see how it goes :)

Move files from one collection to another can be easily done via split/join functions.

Since newzbin returns results as posts and not as a collections best thing I could do there is to implement same thing I did for NL SS and Xpat. Did you use those two? If yes you know what I'm talking about.

Thanks!

And no, I never used any of those. Xpat is not supported by the usenet provider nor do I have NLSS access.

Add something to queue and then search for that thing in nlss (you can do that without licenseid) And then imagine you can also see download progress and decoding progress :)
