Repair & Unrar progress bar
« on: September 02, 2008, 07:31:51 pm »
When AltBinz has finished downloading, it might need to do some extra processing.
I cannot see if Alt.Binz is busy doing PAR download, Repairing or unrar.
When one closes Alt.Binz expexting the download to be ready, and Alt.Binz was busy, the result can be not as expected.

It would be nice to see in the main screen if Alt.Binz is still busy with the download request.

The progress bars for PAR2/unrar are on the PAR2 tab.  Tabs are designed to separate functions.  You can undock the tabs if you want to watch Queue & PAR2 at the same time.  Otherwise the tray icon changes colour when it's doing different things.

But really there should be no reason to close Alt.Binz at all.  It chugs along quite happiily in the background using virtually no memory.  I never shut it down unless I'm rebooting.

setup ->user interface -> always show tray icon
setup ->user interface -> Display speed in tray

then you can see what it is doing:

- green with greean bar -> downloding
- green without bar -> nothing
- orange -> reparing
- purple -> unraring

you can also use the shutdown option:
setup -> misc #2 -> shutdown method
set that to what you need then press the shutdown button (it will do that after finisheing the last download and after unraring it)
