Title: REQUEST Feature to average download speed => better completion time estimate

I'm on ADSL 7 Mbps or thereabouts. But alt.binz gives instantaneous download speeds which fluctuate wildly, from 6 to 10 Mbps typically, meaning the remaining time to download fluctuates similarly, making it hard to determine the "real" time.

I would request an option to average download speeds over a short period, say 3 thru 15 seconds to remedy this problem.

Speed is calculated for the last 4 seconds.

I have a different program which monitors download rate and it uses 5 s averaging and the trace is flat, with the odd dip.

Is there something wrong with my Alt.Binz?
