« on: November 11, 2010, 05:31:10 pm »
Can you count and add the total numbers of downloading nzb files in the status bar ?
it's really important and also easy to coding it.
thanks

You mean collections? What about finished ones, should they count also?

I mean to count all NZB in the list, and yes also count the finished one.
Example in the status bar should be like this : beside the speed graph
Total NZB files : 21 - Finished : 6 - Remaining : 15
I hope to do it soon
thanks

Perhaps it would help if you could explain why you think this is so important as opposed to the queue size stats.  What use case?

I'm downloading over 100 NZB files so i want to know how many NZB that finished and how many left of the total of NZB files.
Queue Size is great but to know about your total and your finished and remaining NZB files is also great.
Some times when i import RAR archive contains only NZB files to empty Altbinz list i want to know how many NZB that i have imported in altbinz.
If you can do it will be a great.

Why would it be "great", and why is this info valuable to you when you already have ETA and queue size to judge when the queue will be done, for instance? I'm asking this out of genuine curiosity, as the status bar is already quite full of stuff, and nobody has asked for this before.

Personally I'd much rather see something like this as part of a more fully developed dl history & stats function (on a new tab, preferrably) as others have requested.

I'm downloading a lot of files each day so when i put say 120 NZB ( in different size ) in altbinz it will say that it will be Finished in 3 days so that i want to see how many files is finished and how many remaining of the total downloading, to arranging my files and my folders.
( i know there is ETA on selected in the context menu of altbinz ) but i want to see the actual finished nzb files. And the total of all imported NZB files in Altbinz.
and about the status bar i checked all things except free space on unrar drive.
So i think there is some space, and it will be acceptable in the status bar in ( 1024x768 ) resolution.
About new tab i don't preferably it for this. maybe something else but not this.
Like most Video Converter Program it count the total files and the finished files and also show the remaining. So it must be in altbinz, ( And any video converter and other programs.. ) that have a lot of files in it.
So that i think it's important for me and maybe for anyone who downloading a lot of files each days.

Again I'm still not seeing why you think this would be useful - to let you know when to start "arranging my files and my folders"? - and i don't understand the video converter analogy at all, but let's see if other users chip in with a +1.
