RSS aggregate
« on: November 28, 2010, 07:59:49 pm »
Hi rdl, i was wondering since you are working on the rss/search (0.33.2) if it is possible to have a built in rss aggregator, refreshing multiple rss threads simultaneously, such as sabnzbd does. At least is it possible with altbinz?
You see, when using yahoo-pipes or rssmix the actual/original rss are refreshed only every 50mins even if you set altbinz to refresh every 15mins. Also, more often than not, the mentioned sites do not even work (overload guess). I have nzbs downloading days after i remove them from the bookmarks of any site i am using.

thanks

woow +++1 I was just thinking about this ... it wouldnt be that difficult, would it?
I would need to list at least 2 feeds for 2 categories of files and filters would apply to this aggregated list, I hope I am clear, lets leep it simple ...
thanks a mil!  ;D  :) :)

and keep up the good work btw

Exccccccccelent ... 1 quick question: will we be able to use the same filters for the combined aggregated list? I would like to monitor the same shows from 2 different feeds, thats why ;)
--- edit ---
well I guess I could duplicate the filters and use the same for both RSS list then ...
looking forward to it!!! this is a real added value feature ...
