smart file renaming based on how much valid blocks [PAR2]
« on: August 17, 2006, 10:59:10 am »
Common case is when you receive 1st file with name bla*.rar, next file with same name will be renamed to bla*.rarx, next file with same name to bla*.rarxx and so on.

Smart case is what be more interesting :) When you receive file with same name that already exists but with more valid blocks (for this is implied that small par is already downloaded and imported as node in list of PAR2 tab) then existing one, would be nice that new file receive original name bla*.rar, and old file new name bla*.rarx(with as many x as it need at that point, if we had already more file with same name).

This would be usefull in cases when some post rls, and then repost incomplete files. Because when u grab NZB, all files (poste and reposted) will be in it, and sometimes you can't notice at that moment. Later when you start some tool for automatic unpacking (until Alt.Binz get it, I joy in advance :) like ParNRar it won't unpack rls until you manualy rename bla*.rarx to bla*.rar.
Very simply - ABZ ROX!
