Search in range of dates/age

Is it possible to search in a range of dates/age for the different search engines ie setting the start age/date and end age/date.

The search engines often return an "Error parsing results!" - I assume it is because there are too many results.

If this is not available, can I request this in up-coming versions.

I have looked through the forum and I apologize if I have missed this topic - please refer me to it.

This has to be exposed by the search engine.  If it's not exposed there is nothing which can be done.  I have coded my own java app against the OMGWTFNZBS search engine and I don't remember it supporting date ranges.
