Timer on speed limit similar to Pause

I would find it really useful if there could be a timer on the speed limit function in the same way as has been implemented on pause.

i.e. Set speed limit for x minutes and after x minutes, turn off speed limit and return to full speed

should fill altbinz with stuff not needed, but  my opinion is try to get another app to run on your computer that controls your bandwith, specifically designed to do that. In that case you can really control down to each second what your speeds are. I have wrote a little program myself that does this great.

I understand what you are saying, but I am not thinking about throttling or bandwidth limiting. I was thinking more for when I slow things down temporarily while I do something else bandwidth intensive on my machine and then just forget to go back to unlimited. I suppose in reality I can just pause rather than slow down and at least with the new timed pause option, downloads go back to normal without me having to remember

I run into the same situation sometimes. Example is I'll have 6 or 7 connections to my news server which really takes a toll on the computer. I'll temporrarily cut it back to 2 or 3 connections and do forget to add the others back. Of course I was lucky enough to have an extra computer just for downloading which I operate using dameware or RDP and that doesn't take resources at all from my primary PC I use all the time.
